About me

Hi I'm Jo, founder and artist of Jo Collier Designs. Originally from the South West of England where I studied Fine Art at Plymouth University. Not long after graduating I decided to travel to Australia where I met my now husband and 10 years later live in the gorgeous northern New South Wales with our 2 beautiful girls.

In May 2015 my husband and I were lucky enough to have our first daughter. Being on maternity leave and unfortunately dealing massive anxiety I picked up my paintbrushes and start painting again. One thing led to another and with some new found fire in my belly I launched Jo Collier Designs in March 2016, with the intention of creating beautiful and gentle artworks. As our family grew so did the business, my ideas and that fire! My daughters are my biggest inspiration, their love of nature and overwhelming sense to learn inspires me every day. I want to create realistic resources that encourage their love of learning, sense to discover and spark their imagination.

I aim to produce products that are mindfully created and ethically made here in Australia.
